About Me

My name is Brian Horwitz and I have lived in Massachusetts since 1999, and I currently reside in East Walpole. Before starting Boutique Technology Services, I worked in corporate IT for companies such as The MathWorks, Partners Healthcare (now Mass General Brigham) and Boston Children's Hospital. I spent the last decade of my IT career in management, working at a director-level at the last 2 places of employment. I've always been very curious about technology, and when I am not at work or playing with my kids you can often find me working on several websites, tinkering with my home theater setup, and listening to records (in addition to other hobbies such as cooking, skiing, golfing and playing guitar).

So how did I come up with the idea for Boutique Technology Services? Whether the issue is devices not working, malware taking over machines, new computers needing to be purchased, or home theater configurations needing to be optimized: People call me. Parents, friends, neighbors, and sometimes even co-workers have picked my brain and enlisted my help. More often than not, I am successful in troubleshooting the issue successfully. I'm always willing to help, and I enjoy the challenges that technology can throw my way. I like technology, and I like people.
